Munich, June 25, 2025 – Aerofoils GmbH, a leading technology startup in the field of electric hydrofoil propulsion systems, headquartered in Munich with manufacturing based in Bavaria, has secured a strategic and financially strong partner in Rosen Swiss Holding AG. By acquiring a majority stake, the Swiss company is laying the foundation for Aerofoils’ global expansion. The company’s founders, Franz Hofmann (CEO) and Dr.-Ing. Christian Rößler (CTO), will continue in their leadership roles and remain shareholders.

Aerofoils is the world’s first company to develop a production-ready jet propulsion system for electric hydrofoils—best known through the Audi e-tron foil—setting the technological benchmark in this segment. The new partnership will enable the targeted expansion of the product portfolio, particularly with a focus on new target groups, as well as market entry into regions such as the United States.
